The Registration System is now open.

Instructions for Registration and Payment

Authors and attendees should access the Registration System in the following link:

Click Here to Proceed with your Registration

If you prefer, watch the instructions in the Video Tutorial below:

https://www.youtube.com/embed/sMyxmoqmHtQ

In this System, you should fill the forms regarding personal and professional information. Then, you should select the correct categories for Tutorial Participation and Registration Type. IEEE and SOBRAEP Members should provide their Membership number in the corresponding text box.

After completing the form and submitting the data, you will receive an email with your Registration Number and Password. The payment order (“boleto”) will be generated within the next few days and automatically sent to your email for you to pay by the ASAAS system (observe a pictures of the two emails you are to receive below – one from the Registration System and the other from the ASAAS system containing the payment order).

The system can be accessed later using the same link above, providing the Registration Number and Password. This will be necessary in order to upload the required files for validation of each registration type, by clicking the button “Upload files” that appears in the upper panel (the system accepts only .PDFs). The following uploads apply for each category:

  • PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION – you should upload the payment recipe and the paper acceptance letter (in case you are attaching one publication to your current Registration Number).
  • PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION +1 EXTRA PAPER – you should upload the payment recipe and the paper acceptance letters for both papers that you are attaching to your Registration Number.
  • STUDENT REGISTRATION – you should upload the payment recipe and a proof of studentship (declaration by University, Faculty, School or an official academic history given out by the educational institution).

Observe that in all cases, the upload of the payment recipe is absolutely required to validate the registration!

Any inconsistencies or lack of the correct files will make the registration invalid!

Authors registering for paper publication: the category “PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION” (Member or Regular) will grant the publication of one paper only. Up to two papers are accepted under the same Registration Number, by selecting the category “PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION +1 EXTRA PAPER”, which carries the extra paper fee. In both cases, the authors should upload a copy of the acceptance letters for each of the paper attached to the Registration Number, along with payment recipe.

Brazilians paying by Obligation Notice (Nota de Empenho): all the information of the Foundation (Fundação Centro Tecnológico de Juiz de Fora – FCT-JF) for the Notice are given below. The Notice (Empenho) should also be uploaded in the system in place of the payment recipe.

International attendees (not Brazilians) should contact the Organizing Committee at cobep2017@gmail.com addressing the payment method. The payment order is only payable by Brazilian banks, so in this case the payment should be done in cash (you can choose Reais, Dolars or Euros) during the conference, at the Conference Desk (note that the value will be the one valid for the date and category of Registration, and the attendee will have their registration assured once they contact the Organizing Committee).

The publication of papers as well as the participation on COBEP 2017’s activities requires registration of authors and attendees. Depending on the type of registration, attendees will be allowed the participation on the following activities: technical sessions, plenaries, coffee-breaks, opening reception, tutorials and/or conference banquet (dinner). The tutorials can be registered individually. The different types of registrations available are:

  • Professional Registration: absolutely required for paper publication, and will include the admission for the opening reception and for the conference banquet (dinner).
  • Student Registration: grants the participation only for the technical sessions, plenaries and coffee-breaks – not the banquet. Please note that the Student Registration does not grant paper publications also.

All papers accepted and to be published need to be attached to Professional Registrations. Please refer to the fees on the tables below.

Important: In order to guarantee the publication of the respective papers on COBEP 2017 Proceedings, as well as their inclusion on the IEEExplore platform and on the conference program, it is necessary the payment of their respective Professional Registrations until 31st October, 2017 (extended).

* Professional registration grants the publication of one paper plus participation in conference (badge), which allows for entry in: technical sessions and plenaries, coffee-breaks, opening ceremony and conference banquet (dinner). Student registration grants only participation in conference (badge), which allows for entry in: technical sessions and plenaries, coffee-breaks and opening ceremony.

** Tutorial attendees can register for tutorials only (if one does not want to attend the whole conference). No conference badge will be given. The student fees will apply provided that the attendee is a regular student within an educational institution (e.g., university, faculty, school, etc). The fee applies to each tutorial in which the attendee is registering to (e.g., one in the morning, one in the afternoon).

*** Only one extra paper per professional registration is allowed. Authors registering to publish more than two papers should pay additional professional registrations and extra fees as needed (e.g., three papers = 1 professional registration + 1 extra paper fee + 1 additional professional registration).
